With the new Premium Lighting Group, the 2019 Jeep Compass adds a level of sophistication and visibility to your driving experience. It includes Bi-Xenon HID headlamps with signature LED accent strip and LED taillamps to cut through darkness and haze so you can see the road clearly in all conditions. You can also activate the available cornering front fog lamps when you turn the steering wheel or engage the turn signal. And with the available Auto High-Beam Headlamp Control, you can set it to adjust the intensity of your headlights based on ambient and oncoming traffic lighting to avoid blinding other drivers.

With it you can choose what data from your vehicle you want to see within the instrument panel, such as your speed, fuel economy, odometer, and so on. You can also use it to see your performance statistics, as well as vehicle alerts and warning systems.

Hill Descent Control, also exclusive to Trailhawk®, monitors throttle, speed and braking on steep slopes, allowing you to focus on steering when navigating downhill paths.
Advanced Performance Technology for Better Fuel Efficiency
The 2019 Compass comes with advanced technology that helps it deliver improved fuel efficiency and reduced CO2 emissions. Features such as the unique valve-lift system of MultiAir technology that maximizes the intake manifold pressure and manages combustion, which helps the engine run efficiently and quietly. It also comes with Engine Stop-Start (ESS) technology as standard with automatic transmission models, and it uses a dual-battery system to reduce fuel flow and turn off the engine when you stop the Compass.

The available Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking system alerts you when it senses potential front impact. If you don’t respond and the risk continues, the system can automatically engage the brakes.
