Mitigating Frontal Impacts
This available high-technology safety system takes action if it senses an imminent impact.
First, the Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking system pre-fills the brakes, transmits audible and visual warnings, and briefly engages the brakes. If it senses no response, it triggers a 1.5-second brake application as a second alert.
Then, if the risk remains, the system applies the brakes to slow down before impact, and under certain conditions, it can bring the vehicle to a full stop if speed is below 32 kph (20 mph).
Advanced Technology for Maintaining Distance
Adaptive Cruise Control maintains a safe distance to the vehicle ahead.

The Park-Sense® Rear Park Assist System detects objects in your path to help you reverse safely.
