Business-Friendly Doors
The ProMaster City is designed to make loading and unloading your cargo as efficient as possible.
Two sliding doors provide cargo access on each side with a 660-mm (26-inch) opening, and for access to the rear, 60/40 split-swing doors.
The wider door opens towards traffic and the smaller door towards the curb - and if the cargo allows, you can keep the small door closed for easier access to the driver's side curb or sidewalk. Rear doors have a detent at 90° but can be opened a full 180° if needed.
High-Mounted Halogen Headlamps
Large, aero-surfaced halogen headlamps light up the road ahead of you to help keep you and your passengers safe and secure even after the sun goes down.

In the cargo area, you'll notice the roof is tall - up to 1,316 mm (51.8 inches) - which, in combination with the wide body, means Best-in-Class cargo capacity of up to 3,729 L (131.7 cu ft).
The width between the wheels is 1,229 mm (48.4 inches) - wide enough to fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood, or a full-size construction pallet. In the cargo area, the overall width is an equally generous 1,534 mm (60.4 inches).

The Ram ProMaster City® offers many business advantages due to its FWD layout.
Front-wheel drive requires fewer mechanical parts and eliminates the heavy rear drive shaft and differential, which decreases the vehicle's weight.
The benefits of its lighter design are greater payload capacity and fuel economy, and FWD provides more predictable handling and better overall traction.
Additionally, the absence of a rear driveshaft allows for a flat floor that is lower to the ground, which frees up more interior space for cargo.

Class-Exclusive Bi-Link Rear
The ProMaster City features a Class-Exclusive independent bi-link rear suspension.
Unlike the rear leaf springs on competitive vehicles, the independent bi-link coil spring rear suspension offers increased comfort and stability - even while hauling the most challenging loads.
Supporting the rigid unibody at the rear, the large-diameter shock absorbers, steel springs and solid stabilizer bar work with the rugged MacPherson strut front suspension to give the ProMaster City the ability to handle rough Canadian roads and heavy cargo.
ESC - A Suite of Safety Features
The ESC system on the ProMaster City is actually a full suite of active handling technologies.
The 4-channel ESC system uses various combinations of anti-lock brakes and traction control to counter a wide variety of stability challenges.
For most, the name says it all: Trailer Sway Control, Hill Start Assist, Drift Compensation and Electronic Roll Mitigation.
Brake-lock differential uses the brakes to simulate the effect of a locked-differential when more traction is needed.
