Chrysler built the very first minivan 43 years ago, and the Pacifica remains Canada’s best-selling and most awarded minivan today. For 2027, it gets a fresh face, new cabin finishes and smarter safety tech. The strengths families count on stay in place, including Stow ’n Go seating in both rear rows and a smooth V6 engine.
If you have been curious about the refreshed Pacifica, this guide covers the highlights in plain terms. You will see what changed on the outside, what is new in the cabin and how the updates make daily family life a little easier.
A Bold New Look Up Front

The most visible change is at the front. Select, Limited and Pinnacle trims get a new front fascia with vertical LED projector headlamps. Between them sits an illuminated grille with a lit signature Chrysler calls “piano keys.” It gives the Pacifica a look you can pick out in a parking lot after dark.
The updates continue at the back with a new Chrysler wing badge and a refreshed liftgate applique. New wheel designs and new paint colours, including Olive Green, give buyers more ways to make their minivan their own.
- Vertical LED projector headlamps (Select and above)
- Illuminated grille with the “piano keys” lit signature
- New Chrysler wing badge front and rear
- New wheel designs and paint colours, including Olive Green
A Fresh Cabin With a Pinnacle-Exclusive Colour
Inside, every Pacifica gets a new Chrysler wing badge in a Satin Chrome finish on the steering wheel airbag cover. New accent finishes run through the cabin as well.
The top Pinnacle trim gets the biggest change. It comes standard with an exclusive Blue Agave Nappa leather interior. Copper Alloy accent bezels, Dark Platinum trim on the instrument panel, a new Parquet seat perforation pattern and Tungsten Patina piping finish the look. Pinnacle is the trim to see if you want the most new details in one cabin.
Smarter Cameras for Busy Roads and Tight Spots
The Safety Sphere Package gains two new features for 2027. The package is optional on Select and Limited and standard on Pinnacle.
Turn Signal-activated Blind-spot View shows a live camera feed of the next lane on the centre touchscreen as soon as you use the turn signal. That gives you a clear view of the lane before you move over. ParkSense-based Camera Activation turns on the right camera view by itself when the parking sensors detect an object. It helps you spot hazards during slow moves, like backing out of a busy driveway.
These new features join the 360-degree surround view camera and front and rear park assist with stop, which both carry over.
Family Tech, Now Your Way

Chrysler has split the old Uconnect Theatre Group into two separate packages for 2027. Families can now pick the features they will use and skip the ones they won’t.
- Family Tech Group: upgraded audio, Uconnect 5 NAV with a 10.1-inch display, an eight-way power front passenger seat, extra power outlets and USB ports, and the FamCAM interior camera
- Theatre Group: built-in Amazon Fire TV, a multi-channel remote, seatback video screens and integrated media inputs
FamCAM gives a high-definition split-screen view of the rear seats. Its zoom-to-seat function even lets parents check on a child in a rear-facing car seat.
A New Liftgate Made for Low Garage Ceilings
A new adjustable-height power liftgate is standard on every 2027 Pacifica trim. You set how high it opens, so it stops short of low garage ceilings, carports and parking deck beams. You still get easy access to the cargo area every time you load groceries or sports gear.
The Family Favourites That Stay
Stow ’n Go seating is still the Pacifica’s signature feature. It is the only minivan in its segment to offer Stow ’n Go in both the second and third rows. The seats fold into the floor to create a flat load space in seconds. Behind the front seats, there are 3,978.5 L of cargo space. With only the third row folded, you get 2,477.7 L, and there are 914.6 L behind the third row.
Seating for seven is standard, and eight-passenger seating is available. Every trim also keeps the quiet cabin Pacifica owners know. Active Noise Cancellation is standard across the lineup. Laminated acoustic glass on the windshield and front side windows, plus triple door seals, keep road and wind noise outside.
Power comes from a 3.6 L 6-cylinder engine making 287 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is available on Select and Limited and standard on Pinnacle. The intelligent AWD system can send 100% of engine torque to the rear wheels or to the wheels with the most grip. It also disconnects the rear drive parts when AWD is not needed, which cuts drag and helps fuel efficiency. The overall city and highway fuel consumption rating is 10.6 L/100 km for front-wheel-drive models and 12.0 L/100 km for AWD models.
With the available Trailer Tow Group, the Pacifica can tow up to 3,600 lbs (1,633 kg). Trailer-sway damping and a heavy-duty radiator come along for added confidence on summer trips.
