For 2019, the Chrysler Pacifica is equipped with a 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine and a nine-speed transmission. The drivetrain supplies power solely to the front wheels, making it a front-wheel-drive, not all-wheel-drive, vehicle.

Electricity is stored in the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid’s onboard 16kWh Lithium-ion battery pack. Two electric motors send power to the front wheels through their electrically variable transmission. When the Pacifica Hybrid runs low on battery power, the gas-powered 260hp Pentastar V6 engine kicks in to recharge your battery, propel your vehicle, or both.
There are a few ways to recharge the hybrid battery system.
• Through normal driving, regenerative braking converts wasted energy into electricity to store in the battery, while simultaneously reducing wear on your brakes;
• You can recharge your battery in a variety of locations with normal Level 1 (120-volt) charging; and
• The available Level 2 (240-volt) Mopar charger can top up your battery in at least two hours.

The trim levels ascend from there with increasing options from Chrysler Pacifica Touring, LX, Touring Plus, Touring-L, Touring-L Plus, and Limited.

The standard infotainment system for the Chrysler Pacifica L is a 7” Uconnect 4 touchscreen with Bluetooth hands-free phone and streaming audio, six speakers, and a Media Hub. It also includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard equipment on all trim levels.
